Foley is a unique sound effect technique that involves creating and “performing” everyday sounds for movies, video games, and television shows. Sound design is the art and practice of creating sound tracks for a variety of needs. It involves specifying, acquiring or creating auditory elements using audio production techniques and tools.

In this module students will learn how to create electronic sounds using synthesizers and basic digital audio editing techniques. We will explore the use of electronic sounds in music production, film, soundtracks, commercial audio and various other career paths.
