B-renn’s story is one of perseverance, adaptability, and passion. From experimenting with a phone app in high school and making mixes for school events to becoming a two-time Battlegories DJ Battle champion, his career highlights the importance of leveraging key influences, social media, and networking. He will share how he progressed from dorm room parties to nightclubs, festivals, and stadiums, emphasizing pivotal moments and strategies that helped him grow into one of Pittsburgh’s premiere DJs.

The workshop will conclude with a discussion of the many pathways available to DJs today, including club, wedding, corporate, touring, social media influencer, and educator roles. B-renn will guide attendees in identifying their ideal niche, balancing personal interests with market opportunities, and positioning themselves for success in the future of DJing. The session will close with an interactive Q&A, allowing attendees to explore specific topics and gain personalized insights.

At the age of 26, B-renn has quickly made himself known as one of Pittsburgh's premiere DJs. He holds multiple residencies at the city's top nightclubs, plays for tens of thousands of people in Acrisure Stadium & Petersen Event Center as the official in-game DJ for the Pitt Panthers Football and Volleyball team, and was crowned the Back to Back champion of Battlegories DJ Battle in 2022 & 2024. On a national level, B-renn has gained recognition for his viral DJ mixes online, gathering millions of views and hundreds of thousands of followers across multiple platforms, as well as receiving support from major artists such as Diplo, Lil Jon, Big Sean, Zack Fox, and others for his routines and remixes. B-renn is also no stranger to the nation's largest cities, having traveled across the country to DJ nightclubs in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, San Francisco, Tampa, Orlando, and many more.
